So, Samantha & Qi.made a surprise visit on Monday. They came down to help Samantha's Mom dog sit. It's good to have my best friend in town again. Summer isn't the same without her.
So, to celebrate we decided to do a marathon. We started with Batman Begins and then caught The Dark Knight. OMFG, what an amazing movie. Seriously, do yourself a favor and see it. It's only failing is that it's a little too long. But other than that, it really doesn't fail in any field.
Afterwords, spent some quality time with James and Tony. Tony came back from Japan. It's great to catch up with the boys, but I also feel like I've changed a lot in the past couple of years. Granted, I'm a lot more serious . . . but I'm also a lot more cynical. James, Tony, and I used to share a lot of optimism in our high school and even college days.
Spent last night with seeing Qi and Samantha off at the Shamrock. Holly really does own that place. She knows everyone. >_<

So, Holly and I raided New England this weekend. Since I only make the trip once every few years, there's always much that I want to do . . . and much that I don't get to do.
I figured the best starting point would be in Boston. The Pour House is a bar closely located to the juncture where all the T lines intercept. Scores of Holy Cross alum and my brother came out. I feel like we should have hung up a giant banner. Ended up crashing with my brother.
On to the main event! Mike "Lunchbox" Gennaro and Andrea Lindwall are now man and wife!!! Happy as I am, I'm still not quite used to the idea, frankly. We all love Andi, and she's really a great match for Mike.
While in Springfield, I visited Dave Robles. Mr Holy Cross. No seriously, he won the title at a male pageant. Couldn't stay too long, because I was already exhausted.
On the way out, Rainey joined us for brunch. It's funny how some things change and other things don't. Rainey and I have both gone into business and take life more seriously than we used to . . . but we still have the same absurdist sense of humor.
Stopped by Krystle's place in Orange, CT. Interesting moment: having your ex and your girlfriend meet. It went well. ^_^ They got along and kept the jokes at my expense to a minimum.
When it was all done, and I got home I needed some time alone. Just being with people 24/3 and driving is mentally exhausting. It's healthy in small doses.

My older sister called me and woke me up this morning. I was generally not pleased about this, but she informed me that she had gotten us tickets to a concert in October, a concert that would rival the Spice Girls in terms of awesomeness. Now very awake and intrigued, I inquired as to who, pray tell, we would be seeing.
And she simply says, "Hanson."
Whereby I promptly go nuts. I have wanted to see them since I was in middle school! My sister fucking rocks.

So I'm looking at classifieds and help wanted and job postings all over the place. I see images in lots of ads, so I almost didn't even give this a second glance aside from the nun to the far right. But then I noticed text. It starts out perfectly reasonably...
If you can't read it...
A rich tradition of service to children everyone. Being able to smirm while plywood, freeing your horse and chickens tabletop. Blender orange, and blender carseats making your quad look like frying. Part of your arm just washing machine, due to a plural concept should make.
Could someone please tell me that I haven't gone insane, an that I AM reading it right!?

^~That was the only sentence in a saved draft...it made me do a little wtf, so I'm keeping it. It is not the point of this entry.
I am tired. I am so amazingly tired that I had a dream about SLEEPING. No, I'm not kidding. It wasn't just that, though. Part of it also had to do with a big trailer show, the fact that the plastic bit of my car key snapped so that it won't stay on the keychain, and something like a Sesame Street video game...I think it was Sesame Street.

The way I met Dan was by inviting him over to my room at my first floor meeting, and from that point on. . .kind of stuck. . .so lets see what would happen
1. I would still have my Jacket, because I never would of lost it in his room.
2. Julia wouldn't be a summer CA.
3. Lisa and Julia would still be friends.
4. I wouldn't of spent that money on the rental car to take his butt home.
5. I would of been able to go get drunk with Joe.
6. Eric's song to me wouldn't be tainted since it was the same song Dan used in his movie. (thanks for that patrick)
7. Money Money and MORE MONEY
8. Spring break wouldn't of happened. i think it was spring break.
9. Julia wouldn't of changed.
10. My demon plant might still be alive.
11. The constant arguing within the band. . .
12. Well there would still be a band, since the whole Lisa and Julia thing.
13. Julia wouldn't have someone to constantly bitch about. . .
14. Robbie might still be around.
15. The band would of not lied to each other so much.
16. Julia and I's friendship wouldn't be so rocky.
17. I wouldn't of had to lie to my friends.
18. i wouldn't of gotten in trouble with Katie
19. A few more things, but not for a blog.
20. Lisa would of had a better graduation party
21. Wouldn't of had to set up play dates between Lisa and Julia.
22. Wouldn't of had to lie to Patrick.
All of these things are things that wouldn't of happened if I hadn't met Dan. I'm not saying that these things are choices, they just wouldn't of happened therefore the event is null.

I went to the club with Versia and Crystal. That was really fun and that made me happy. We went to . . .somewhere. i've never been VIP in a club before. They played all the good songs, and I loved it.
I don't really remember what happend else.
I'm so tired.

So, this is what gets me. Why has she changed show much. I don't understand it. I hate the way she treats me these days. There used to be such good times about how I used to just adore her company, now, I could really care less.
It's baffling, utterly baffling. No one should be that mean. I hate her so much, I mean, I can't even express the time of hurt I feel at this moment. See I have found a new way to live, but of course it involves me getting angry again. It's like I'm living my story right in front of me. OH man, I hope she gets what's coming to her. It's just not fair, it is just not fair.
I talked to Dan finally, which wasn't as bad, the anger kind of melted away, I've never felt such relief, but Julia, the way she has been acting just drives me up a damn wall, I can't wait to leave here. I've been so fine with the way things were, I didn't need to hang out with all these people, I could very content on my own. I think I should just get my plane ticket to leave tomorrow, that would make a lot of more sense. I need to see amber though. UGH! AND I WANT MY PILLOW, AND DAN DIDN'T HAVE MY JACKET!!!! DEATH TO ALL WHO DEFY ME.
I have to go, because Alex Kasik is waiting for me to come by

So, I started the last class I need to sit for th CPA exam. Ever watch the Simpsons? The instructor sounds JUST like the blue haired lawyer. I didn't know that was a real accent. >_<
After class, I stopped by the new apartment. Bonded with Miki and drank the better part of a six pack and a bottle of wine. One thing that's brilliant about the city is you can leave completely intoxicated and not have to worry about driving.
Me: I'm druuuunk!
Guy on subway: Hey, me too!!!
Wong and I have taken to routinely playing Go. Right now, we're tied 3 for 3. I really need to learn a few tricks and traps so I can soundly defeat him. Afterwards, we hit Finley's. Man, I must have run into twenty-something people I went to high school with. Kind of makes me wish I was better dressed for the occasion. >_<
